This year the eid menu consists of:
ketupat palas with ayam masak merah utara
Nasi 'Hujan Panas' with Dalca, Rendang Ayam and Acar Timun
The Daun Palas was harvested from the palas plant grown in the orchard.
I'll get a picture of the plant later if anyone wishes to see it
And so are the pineapples and cucumber for the pickles which were also grown 'in-house'
Lemon for the lemonade was also harvested from the fruiting lemon tree
(ala farmville LOL!)
The long beans and carrots also originated from the vegetable farm
and for dessert
Off season Durians!!!

And a few days later.. (last Sunday really)
'Serawa' Durian in the making
was served with steamed (microwaved) glutinous rice
I don't know about you people... but I'm hungry
