visions interrupted

had a trip to thoneh today.

Thoneh is Tun Hussein Onn Eye Hospital is PJ.

The mission, checkup for this deteriorating vision.
I was in Columbia-Asia earlier trying to see an opthalmologist, but the good doctor did not turn up.

Since I was eager to find out what's wrong, made my way to PJ in the end of month Saturday traffic.

Got there after 'wading thru' some major traffic, avoiding the infamous federal highway which was like a standstill.

From the suspension bridge interconnecting Sunway to the other side, made my way to Kelana Jaya before turning into SS2 via Taman Bahagia.

So many people there. As it was my first time, I could not imagine that so many Malaysians have vision problems.

After registration, made my way to the 4th floor for some waiting.

After ages of waiting, finally my number got called. Explained the doctor on the symptoms I'm facing wrong with my eyes. Perhaps it could be either one of two factors which could explain the symptoms.

The first is astigmatism, which could quickly wear out the ciliary muscles. This seems have no remedial means except prescription glasses and relaxation of the eyes from time to time.

The second is links to blood sugar level. The ability to quickly shift focus can also be linked to the increase of sugar level in the blood. I guess I may have to submit myself to a glucose tolerance test in the near future.

Have not told my other half on the prognosis. Merely told her that all is ok. Wouldn't want her to worry unnecessarily over any unconfirmed thing right?

Right now, I'm in a Mamak shop waiting for a friend to arrive for some talks before catching up on the MU-Barca match that starts in about an hour.
