Thor trailer released

The next installment of Marvel movie is Thor which is scheduled to be released in April 2011.

Thor, in Norse mythology is the God of Thunder and was one of my favorite Marvel Character in my childhood days. He is the Son of Odin, the King of Gods. He has a brother Loki which is the God of Mischief and so on...

In the trailer, the rendition of Asgard is awesome!

And if you've watched Ironman 2, at the end of the credits, the Shield agent discovered Mjolnir in the desert. Mjolnir, the Hammer of Thor looks a bit short to me, unlike the comics.

If you've watched the Hulk movie, (2nd one) where the Abomination was created by the taking the Super Soldier serum injection. Based on the Marvel comics the Super Soldier serum was tested to be successful only to one person, which was Steve Rogers. This experiment which was supposedly carried out in the 1950s. Captain America was cyro-frozen to be reanimated in the 21st century.. due to his arch-nemesis The Red Skull which was also cyro-frozen and hidden from the world... so as the story goes.....

There is also a planned movie for Captain America in 2011. I'm pretty sure in the Thor movie there will be a cut-scene that will show the prelude to Captain America. Like in Hulk 2 where the Tony Stark went to see the General of putting together the 'team'.

Anyway Thor, Captain America, Ironman and the Hulk will form the first team of Avengers put together by Col Nick Fury of Shield. The Avengers has also been planned as a movie for 2012.



And I'm having fun 'educating' my sons on the background story on these characters...

btw Spider-man 4 is also slated for this year (or is it 2011) ... with a new actor replacing Tobey Macquire.. Spider-man 4 takes us back during Peter's College days, rumour has it that it will be in 3D?! Well that's another story...
