More annoyances on the Droid

As I've suspected... the honeycomb does not implement true multitasking... more on 'efficient' time slice juggling...


Noticed this while waiting the countdown on Web downloading, and switching to another app, it seems that the countdown is paused... wasn't this is implemented by Javascript, hence run locally?

Retested and reconfirmed... hmm unlike symbian and qnx... the Droid does not implement true multitasking, but it's better off than ios... Hehe

And with the ram consumption of apps running, it's really no mystery why Droids need 1GB ram to operate efficiently...
