Fish 'Singgang ' Northern Style


As requested by Komander, to assist him for preparing meals for Ramadhan, especially Sahur, I put in a recipe for a very simple dish.

Ingredients

Fish, cleaned (picture -->)
- I personally prefer the 'Yellow Banded Scald' or 'Selar Kuning (picture above)


Onions - duh...

Lemon Grass (picture -->)

Tamarind Peel (picture -->)

Red Chillies

Salt to taste


Steps

Slice the Onions and chillies
Give the Lemon Grass a bash or two
Put everything in a pot of water except the fish
Cook until the water is boiling and put in the fishes
Add salt to taste.
Once the water boils again, the dish is ready.

Served with Rice... lalala~~
