Let's take a step back to re-examine the 6 Pillars of Iman.
- Belief in Allah
- Belief in the Angels (Malaikat)
- Belief in the Messenger (Prophets)
- Belief in the revealed books (Kitab)
- Belief in the Day of Judgement
- Belief in predestination (Qada' & Qadar)
In my view, the fight on the rights to use the Arabic word for God has set aside the first and most fundamental pillars of Iman. The utmost foundation of the six pillars have been cast aside, just to strengthen the argument put forth that Muslims may be misguided into converting into Christianity.
Self admission of utmost stupidity? or was it self admission of utmost lack of Iman? Or just blatant ignorance?
Now, while I do agree that there's many ways to skin a cat, fundamental dissemination and responsibility to inculcate the Islamic values lies in all Muslims, from the day they reach puberty.
