Updates on the 'Allah' issue

The Friday sermon today also touches on the 'rights' to use the word 'Allah'. The sermon basically touched on how much the Mslims in Malaysia undervalues the usage and 'ownership' of the word Allah.

The sermon adopts a neutral standpoint over the ongoing legal tussle of the rights to use the word. The sermon however urged the congregation to value, apply and embrace the religion, to be a more complete Muslim.

I applaud this move as it does not further inflame the already fiery and hot issue. This is what Muslims should strive to be... moderation and humility

The Friday prayers are followed immediately with a 'Solat Hajat' to asks for a peaceful resolution to the issue.
